Our buckwheat honey is VERY strong. In fact, when we do honey tastings we have customers taste the buckwheat last. It is a very strong-flavoured honey with a similar taste to molasses. Buckwheat honey is great to take to help suppress a cough and help with illness. We collect the buckwheat from areas that have a very large amount of buckwheat in the area to be pollinated. It is a slightly more expensive product because of this – not many farmers are planting large amounts of buckwheat anymore, so it is harder to find!
